NOVASKIN COSMETIC PRODUCT TERMS OF USE, SAFETY WARNINGS AND DISCLAIMER Last updated: 25/04/2026 This document sets out the terms, safety warnings, storage requirements, return conditions and liability limitations applicable to the purchase, receipt, opening, testing, use and storage of serums, creams, lotions, cleansers, skincare products and other topical cosmetic formulations offered under the Novaskin brand. Any person who purchases, receives, opens, tests or uses a Novaskin product shall be deemed to have read, understood and accepted these Terms of Use, Safety Warnings and Disclaimer. Nothing in this document shall be interpreted as limiting or excluding any mandatory consumer rights, statutory rights relating to defective products, product safety obligations or any other rights that cannot be excluded under applicable law. Mandatory legal provisions remain fully reserved. 1. Definitions For the purposes of this document: Novaskin / Brand refers to the Novaskin brand and the cosmetic products offered under this brand. Product / Products refers to all cosmetic products, topical formulations, skincare products, serums, creams, lotions and similar products offered under the Novaskin brand. User / Consumer / Buyer refers to any natural person who purchases, receives, uses, allows others to use, or physically comes into contact with the Product. Packaging refers to the outer box, protective seal, safety band, cap system, bottle, pump, dropper, tube, label and all other physical components designed to preserve product integrity. Instructions for Use refers to all usage instructions provided on the product packaging, label, insert, website, product page or any written or digital information provided by the Brand. 2. Legal Nature of the Products and Cosmetic Scope Novaskin products are cosmetic products. They are developed for external application to the human body and are intended for cosmetic purposes such as skincare, cleansing, appearance improvement, moisturising, supportive care or similar cosmetic functions. Novaskin products are not: medicines, medical devices, biocidal products, prescription or non-prescription medical treatment products, products intended to diagnose, treat, cure or prevent any disease. Any information regarding ingredients, usage, benefits or product characteristics provided on packaging, product pages, advertisements, social media content or other promotional channels is intended solely as cosmetic product information. Such information does not constitute medical advice, dermatological diagnosis, treatment recommendation or a substitute for professional medical opinion. Users with skin disease, active dermatological conditions, infection, open wounds, burns, severe irritation, allergic reactions or similar health concerns must consult a physician or dermatologist before using the Product. 3. Medical Claims Disclaimer Novaskin products are not offered for the treatment of acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis, fungal conditions, infections, pigmentation disorders, hormonal skin disorders, wounds, burns, scars, skin cancer or any other medical condition. References to ingredients such as hyaluronic acid, peptides, vitamins, botanical extracts, oils, acids, minerals or similar components are provided only to describe the general cosmetic properties of such ingredients within the context of cosmetic use. Such references do not mean that the Product will produce the same result for every user or provide any specific medical effect. No statement regarding the Product shall be interpreted as a guarantee of “definitive results”, “permanent treatment”, “disease elimination”, “substitution for medical treatment” or “identical effect on every skin type”. 4. Obligation to Follow Instructions for Use The User is responsible for using the Product only in accordance with the instructions provided on the packaging, label, product page or other usage information supplied by the Brand. Products are intended for external use only. Products must not be swallowed, inhaled, injected, applied internally or used for any purpose other than their intended cosmetic use. Products must not be applied to: the inside of the eyes, open wounds, bleeding areas, burned or peeled skin, severely irritated areas, infected skin surfaces, mucous membranes, body areas not specified in the Instructions for Use. In case of contact with the eyes, use must be discontinued immediately and the affected area should be rinsed carefully with plenty of water. If burning, redness, blurred vision, pain or discomfort persists, medical attention should be sought. 5. Patch Test / Preliminary Skin Test Every skin type is different. Natural or synthetic ingredients in cosmetic products may cause sensitivity, redness, itching, burning, dryness, stinging, rash, swelling or allergic reactions in some users. For this reason, the User should perform a patch test on a small area of skin before applying the Product to the face or a larger skin area. For a patch test, apply a small amount of the Product to a clean and limited skin area such as the inner wrist, inner elbow or behind the ear. The area should be observed for at least 24 hours for any redness, itching, burning, swelling, blistering or unusual reaction. If any adverse reaction occurs during the patch test or during regular use, use of the Product must be discontinued immediately. Applying the Product directly to large skin areas without performing a patch test is at the User’s own discretion and responsibility, subject always to mandatory consumer rights and statutory rights relating to defective products. 6. Responsibility to Review the Ingredients List The User is responsible for carefully reviewing the Ingredients / INCI list provided on the product packaging, label or product page before using the Product. If the User has a known allergy, sensitivity or previous reaction to any ingredient, the Product must not be used. Novaskin shall not be held liable for reactions arising from the User’s use of a Product despite a known allergen, failure to follow the Instructions for Use, or failure to review the ingredients list before use. Mandatory legal rights remain reserved. 7. Special Health Conditions The following individuals must consult a physician or dermatologist before using Novaskin products: pregnant individuals, breastfeeding individuals, individuals with chronic skin conditions, individuals with eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis or similar skin sensitivities, individuals undergoing active dermatological treatment, individuals using prescription creams, acids, retinoids, steroids or medical products, individuals with a compromised skin barrier, individuals with a history of allergies, individuals who have recently undergone aesthetic procedures, laser treatment, peeling, microneedling, mesotherapy or similar applications. Use of the Product by individuals in these groups without professional medical consultation is at the User’s own responsibility. 8. Use with Other Products Using Novaskin products together with other cosmetic, dermocosmetic, acid-based, retinoid, vitamin C, peeling, exfoliating, medical cream or active-ingredient products may increase skin sensitivity. Before using multiple active-ingredient products within the same routine, the User should review the relevant instructions and seek professional advice where necessary. The Product must not be mixed, diluted, combined with other substances or otherwise modified. Such actions may compromise product stability, safety and performance. 9. Individual Results and Variation in Effects Results obtained from cosmetic products may vary from person to person. Skin type, age, genetics, lifestyle, diet, sleep patterns, climate, environmental factors, other products used, hormonal balance and the condition of the skin barrier may affect the user experience. Novaskin does not guarantee: definitive results within a specific period, permanent change, identical effects for every user, medical improvement, flawless skin appearance, irreversible or permanent benefits. User experiences, reviews, images or example results presented in product promotions are personal experiences only and do not constitute guaranteed results for all users. 10. Side Effects, Sensitivity and Discontinuation of Use If any of the following symptoms occur during use, the Product must be discontinued immediately: severe redness, itching, burning, stinging, swelling, blistering, rash, peeling, hives, pain, discomfort around the eyes, difficulty breathing, signs of a widespread allergic reaction. If symptoms do not resolve shortly or worsen, medical attention should be sought. For product safety assessment purposes, the User may contact Novaskin customer support with the product name, batch/lot number, expiry date, purchase date, method of use, date of reaction and, where possible, photographs of the Product and the affected area. 11. Keep Away from Children and Pets Products must be stored out of the reach of children. Products must not be used by children, given to children for play, or left accessible without supervision. Use on children should only be considered if the Product is expressly indicated as suitable for children and, where necessary, professional advice has been obtained. Products must also be kept away from pets. If a pet licks, swallows or comes into contact with the Product, veterinary advice should be sought. 12. Storage Conditions Unless otherwise stated on the packaging, Products should be stored: away from direct sunlight, in a cool and dry place, at room temperature, away from excessive humidity, away from heat sources, with the cap tightly closed, in their original packaging. Products should not be left inside vehicles, on windowsills exposed to sunlight, in high-humidity areas such as bathrooms, near radiators/heaters, or in environments subject to extreme temperature changes. Improper storage may affect the Product’s colour, odour, texture, stability and safety. 13. Packaging Integrity and Contamination Risk Product packaging is designed to help preserve the safety and stability of the Product. The User must not: leave the cap open, introduce water, fingers, foreign substances or other products into the container, allow the dropper, pump or applicator to touch unclean surfaces, transfer the Product to another container, ignore hygiene risks when sharing the Product with others. If the packaging is broken, cracked, punctured, damaged, if the safety seal is compromised outside the User’s control, or if the Product is suspected to be contaminated, the Product must not be used. Novaskin shall not be held liable for deterioration caused by the User damaging the packaging, storing the Product improperly, contaminating the Product or interfering with the formulation. Mandatory statutory rights remain reserved. 14. Expiry Date and Period After Opening The expiry date, batch/lot number and/or period after opening may be indicated on the product packaging. The period after opening may be shown with symbols such as 6M, 12M or 24M. These symbols indicate the number of months within which the Product should be used after opening. Products that are past their expiry date, used beyond the recommended period after opening, or show changes in colour, odour, texture or signs of deterioration must not be used. Risks arising from the use of such Products belong to the User. 15. Authenticity and Unauthorised Sales Channels Novaskin can only assess storage, shipping and packaging integrity processes for Products purchased through its official sales channels, authorised sellers or verifiable sales points. For Products purchased from unauthorised sellers, second-hand platforms, individuals selling opened products, damaged-package listings or sources of uncertain origin, Novaskin cannot guarantee: authenticity, storage conditions, expiry status, packaging integrity, contamination risk, transportation conditions. Risks arising from the use of Products obtained through such channels belong to the User. 16. Returns, Right of Withdrawal and Hygiene Exception Cosmetic products are sensitive products from a health and hygiene perspective. The Consumer’s statutory right of withdrawal arising from distance sales remains reserved within the period and conditions provided under applicable law. However, Products whose packaging, seal, protective band, protective cap, hygiene barrier or similar protective elements have been opened after delivery; Products that have been tested, used, contacted with skin or have lost their hygienic resale condition may be excluded from return. The following Products may not be accepted for return due to health and hygiene reasons: Products with opened protective bands or seals, Products with opened packaging, Products that have been tested or used, Products whose applicator, dropper, pump or product surface has contacted skin, Products with damaged original packaging, Products that have lost hygienic conditions suitable for resale. Damaged shipments, incorrect product deliveries, manufacturing defects or defective product claims are excluded from this limitation. In such cases, the User should contact Novaskin customer support within a reasonable period after delivery. 17. Delivery and Damage Inspection The User should inspect the shipping package and product packaging upon delivery. If the shipping package shows crushing, wetness, tearing, breakage, leakage, spillage or any damage that may affect product integrity, a delivery damage report should be prepared where possible and the condition should be photographed. For damage noticed after delivery, the User should keep the product packaging, shipping package, invoice or order information and contact Novaskin customer support. 18. Product Information and Digital Content Information provided on the Novaskin website, product pages, social media accounts, advertisements, blog posts, email newsletters and other digital channels is for general informational purposes only. Such information does not constitute: personalised skin analysis, dermatological diagnosis, treatment plan, physician advice, prescription, medical guidance. The User should not make personal skin health decisions solely based on digital content. In case of medical concern or suspected skin disease, professional advice should be obtained. 19. User Reviews and Experience Sharing User reviews, ratings, social media posts or experience statements regarding the Products are personal opinions and experiences. Such content: does not guarantee the same result for all users, does not replace scientific or medical evaluation, does not constitute a definitive result commitment by Novaskin. Novaskin reserves the right to remove, refuse to publish or moderate user content that is misleading, unlawful, contains medical treatment claims, includes insults, infringes third-party rights or violates applicable regulations. 20. Limitation of Liability Novaskin carries out the necessary processes to place its Products on the market in accordance with applicable legislation and product safety requirements. However, Novaskin shall not be held liable for damages arising from: use contrary to the Instructions for Use, application to large skin areas without a patch test, use despite a known allergen, improper combination with other products, incorrect storage conditions, damage to the packaging caused by the User, introduction of foreign substances into the Product, use of expired Products, Products obtained from unauthorised sellers, failure to seek medical advice where professional consultation is required. This clause shall not be interpreted as excluding liability for defective products, product safety obligations, gross negligence, wilful misconduct or mandatory consumer law rights. 21. Force Majeure and Circumstances Beyond Brand Control Novaskin shall not be held liable for delays, interruptions or failures caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to natural disasters, fire, flood, earthquake, epidemic, war, strike, supply chain disruption, decisions of public authorities, logistics disruptions, technical failures, cyberattacks, power outages or similar events, for as long as such circumstances continue. 22. Right to Amend Novaskin may update these Terms of Use, Safety Warnings and Disclaimer from time to time, provided that such updates comply with applicable law. The updated version shall become effective as of the date it is published on the website. Consumer rights and order terms applicable at the time of purchase remain reserved. 23. Acceptance Statement The User declares that by: purchasing the Product, completing an order, receiving the Product, opening the packaging, protective band or seal, testing or using the Product, they have read, understood and accepted these Terms of Use, Safety Warnings, hygiene/return provisions and Disclaimer. Before using the Product, the User is responsible for checking the packaging, label, ingredients list, expiry date, Instructions for Use and storage conditions. 24.
